The Stallions of Rafter M

The following are our breeding stallions.  We have traveled hundreds of miles and spent considerable money gathering stallions that would cross well on our mares.  On Our 2006 Foals page, you can see some of the foals we have produced with our breeding program.

As of January 2009, we will no longer be breeding to outside mares.  We have several quality foals for sale out of these stallions.

"Romeo" is a really nice stallion that throws small foals.  The majority of his babies are around 17 inches at birth and mature under 30 inches.  He has a 70% color production on solid mares and 100% color on appaloosa & pinto mares.

His sire is Lane Kobeck's 28 inch black & white homozygous stallion
Paul's Little Chief Penny.  His dam is a solid black 28.5 inch daughter of the legendary Komoko's Dusty Devil.

In the several years we have owned this stallion, he has produced many outstanding foals.  One of these foals, was our show gelding, "Beau Britches", who is featured on our Home page.

We were very fortunate several years ago to purchase Rowdy as our senior breeding stallion.

Rowdy combines the Flying W Farms and NFC breeding programs.  His
sire is Flying W Farms Little Boy Blue and his dam is NFC Carmelita.  His grandsire is, of course the famous FWF Little Blue Boy.

We have kept some of his daughters for future brood mares.

We also have some of his sons for sale.

We have decided to sell Rowdy only if he goes to a special home that can appreciate his bloodlines and quality.

"Scout" is a really tiny, sweet few spot
SON of Lane Kobeck's famous Appaloosa stallion  Komokos Chief Running Brave.  These photos were taken of him in breeding (not show) condition.

We were very fortunate to be able to purchase Scout from Lane.  As you can tell from our stallion battery, we really believe in the Kobeck breeding program.  Two of our stallions carry the Kobeck name.
