| Mares For Sale |
| We realize that mares are the backbone of any breeding program. Over the past 10 years, we have tried to select only the best mares to add to our broodmare band. We have traveled hundreds of miles and visited many farms in order to select 20-25 young mares that we felt would make our breeding program the best it could be. Now that we have our own young Rafter M mares approaching breeding age, we have decided to sell a few of our foundation mares at deeply discounted prices. These mares would be a great opportunity for someone wanting to breed their own horses, or just own some great horses. Additionally, we don't breed our mares on the "foal heat" like some farms do. We breed every 18-24 months. We believe that this practice allows the mare to produce and raise a better foal, while maintaining her own health. |
